Spar comes into the arena with John Lennon & Wings: Dear Boy blaring out of the sound system. Alli is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by De la Souls, by POS. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spar swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Spar tries to land a body kick

and Alli counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Alli is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Alli drops back looking for a leg! Spar is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Spar manages to kick Alli off! Alli jumps back into Spar's guard.
Spar wants to sweep here but Alli controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Spar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Undercard bout

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Flava Flave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Flave might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Momma said Tap you Out. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Flave has gone for a leg lock! Kennedy slips out almost immediately though and dives into Flave's guard.

Kennedy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Flave has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kennedy is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Flave.

Minotauro leaves his chin hanging out and Noriega seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Minotauro crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
