The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kobayashi's guard.

Boy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kobayashi manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between David Kyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen Hawking (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kyle might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Big Booty Woman. Hawking has chosen Shady Lane as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Hawking is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kyle.
Kyle stalks Hawking and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hawking's face. Hawking staggers backwards, shaken.
