Bennett tries to score a power double leg takedown but Selhorst sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bennett somewhat.
Selhorst tries to clinch there but Bennett circles away.
Bennett tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Selhorst manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Selhorst closes the distance but Bennett moves to the side

and Bennett counters with a nice double leg into side control. Selhorst won't be happy with that.
Selhorst wants to get back to his feet but Bennett drags him back down.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Selhorst takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

It looks like Cesar Selhorst has been cut.
Selhorst parries the strikes from Bennett easily there. Bennett is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Selhorst to escape.
Bennett connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Selhorst some visible discomfort.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jere Ruutikainen will probably get the nod.
