Undercard bout

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between George Ballantine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stu Gotts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Gotts's choice of entrance music: Godfather Theme. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gotts wanted to stand there but Ballantine had control of the position.

Ballantine has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Gotts has passed into side control.

Williams with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Harris chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Williams can pounce on him.
Williams feints and then cracks Harris's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Harris down.
A nice leg kick lands there from Williams.
Harris tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
No joy there for Harris, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Harris walks into a stiff left hand from Williams.
The crowd cheers as Williams lands an impressive looking overhand right. Harris doesn't seem phased though.
Williams lands a leg kick that knocks Harris off balance momentarily.

Harris moves into range and clinches up with Williams.
Harris has Williams pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Williams manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Harris is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Williams can't fight it off and eventually Harris manages to take the fight to the floor. Williams looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Williams lands a left and a right that send Harris crashing to the mat, dazed. Williams thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh Harris is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Chris Harris's cut is getting worse.
Williams steps in with a hook that catches Harris right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Williams follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Harris looks absolutely devastated.

Willis thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Newman if he has to take too many more of those.
