The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ben throws a sloppy head kick
and Staal counters with a nice leg kick.
Ben throws a half hearted mid kick.
Ben closes the distance but Staal moves to the side
and Staal counters with a good low kick that Ben was not able to check.
Staal feints and then cracks Ben's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ben down.
Ben is breathing heavily.
Staal dips to his left and cracks Ben with an uppercut!
It looks like Jorge Ben has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Staal connects with a nice cross there... Ben is looking wobbly and Staal recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Ben to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Staal jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
