It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Robert Machinator seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Couture working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. SparBJJ doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. SparBJJ manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

SparBJJ postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Couture is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of SparBJJ, into his guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Couture is on top in guard.

SparBJJ looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Couture has picked SparBJJ up and slammed him! SparBJJ can't keep hold of the triangle and Couture manages to pass to side control!
Couture in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Couture misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Couture wants to lay and pray for a moment but SparBJJ keeps working.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Couture lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Couture fakes high and swings low for a body shot but SparBJJ manages to avoid it.

Couture changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. SparBJJ looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Couture will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Couture is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because SparBJJ is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Couture lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Couture knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for SparBJJ on the ground.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Couture tries to buck SparBJJ off but SparBJJ is having none of it.

SparBJJ is working to tighten is grip on Couture's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Couture has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but SparBJJ is really squeezing tight and eventually Couture passes out! SparBJJ breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
