The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Karenst throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Karenst throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wiker sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Wiker takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Wiker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Karenst swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Wiker is trying to drag Karenst to the mat but Karenst just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Karenst's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Wiker lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Karenst backwards.

Karenst tries for a takedown but Wiker manages to get underhooks.

Wiker remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Khan looks to land a combination. Eriksen sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

and Khan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Eriksen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Khan stuffs the takedown attempt from Eriksen. Eriksen gets slowly back to his feet.

Khan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Khan goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Khan lands a left and a right that send Eriksen crashing to the mat, dazed. Khan thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Morten Eriksen has been cut.

Khan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kubla Khan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Khan shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Eriksen eats them both and turns towards Khan to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Oh Eriksen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Khan cracks Eriksen with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Eriksen looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Khan finish him?

Khan drops Eriksen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Eriksen looks back up at him and smiles so Khan waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Khan drops Eriksen with a beautiful combination! Eriksen stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Khan is looking for the KO!

Khan feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Eriksen sprawling to the canvas! Eriksen rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Khan finish him?!

Khan drops Eriksen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Eriksen looks back up at him and smiles so Khan waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Khan Throws a clean left jab. Khan Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Eriksen's chin! Eriksen crumbles to the ground and Khan follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Khan!

Eikaas is looking for a kimura but Jason is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Eikaas to get the leverage.

Well, if Eikaas is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
