The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hampton shoots in and drives through. Schilt sprawls well.

Hampton seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Schilt does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nick Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Romero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shamrock comes into the arena with Kanye West 's Stronger blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
