Winslow tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Wolf darts in and clinches Winslow up against the ropes.

Wolf decides to pull guard.
Wolf is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Wolf pulls Winslow in close to his closed guard and prevents Winslow from doing any damage or advancing position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Winslow turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Wolf off and cradles Winslow 's limp body as Wolf celebrates with his corner.

No joy there for Schwetty, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kharitonov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Schwetty has time to react.

Schwetty is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kharitonov has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Schwetty is looking to defend but Kharitonov has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Schwetty! Kharitonov pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Schwetty taps out and this one is all over!

Mael is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Targaryen gets his way!

Mael has gone for a leg lock! Targaryen slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mael 's guard.

Mael escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Targaryen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Drogon Targaryen will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Targaryen tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Mael is able to avoid easily.
Targaryen lands with an uppercut that bounces Mael off the ropes and back into rage.
Mael gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Targaryen.
Mael punishes Targaryen's body with a nice straight punch.
Targaryen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Mael tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Targaryen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Targaryen looks to land a combination but Mael avoids it well.

Mael closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mael lands in his opponent's guard.
Targaryen is trying to control the position but Mael postures up.
Mael thows a big elbow that misses.
Mael connects with a couple of short punches.
Targaryen looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Mael drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mael jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Mael seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Targaryen keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Mael uses his free foot to push down on Targaryen's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Targaryen.
Mael works his way to his opponent's back.
Targaryen rolls, trying to escape but Mael keeps control of the position.

Mael is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Targaryen has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Mael has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Targaryen taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Mael doesn't care though - he's delighted!
