The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Orlov is defended easily by Greger.
Greger looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Orlov lands with a thumping leg kick.
Greger misses with a body kick.

and Orlov counters with a nice double leg into side control. Greger won't be happy with that.

I really don't envy Greger right now.

Jardel stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Turchin.
Jardel looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Turchin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jardel is trying to defend but Turchin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Turchin passes to full mount!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Turchin is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Jardel is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Jardel flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Turchin anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Jardel and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Turchin slips an arm under Jardel chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Turchin has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Turchin is squeezing on Jardel like an anaconda would it's prey. Jardel fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

McCartny is looking to control Gazzi's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can McCartny avoid being mounted?

McCartny is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gazzi's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gazzi's back!

McCartny is looking for the choke from the back position but Gazzi is controlling his hands well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

McCartny has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Gazzi has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

That was a close second round but I would say that Benny McCartny will probably get the nod.

Rojas manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kern's best efforts.

Well Kern has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
