These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ex misses with a series of wild punches.

Ex gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Ex avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Ex keeping moving, preventing Li from controlling successfully.
Li missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Ex can't keep his opponent in guard - Li advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Li perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Ex knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Li on the ground.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
It looks like Li might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tucker throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tucker lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Tucker.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Sanders paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Tucker takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Tucker walks straight into a right hand from Sanders - that's dropped him! Sanders jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Tucker from any more punishment! Tucker complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Kelly. Thracian does a little dance to reset his feet.
Thracian closes the distance and clinches up with Kelly, looking for a takedown. Thracian pushes Kelly against the cage but Kelly circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kelly looks to land a left hand but Thracian moved out of range nicely.

Thracian doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
