The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrenko throws a leg kick but Gracie moved away.
Damien Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Petrenko's waist but Petrenko gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gracie off to one side.
Gracie tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Petrenko counters with an inside leg kick.
Gracie closes the distance and clinches up with Petrenko, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes Petrenko against the cage but Petrenko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Petrenko feints and then cracks Gracie's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gracie down.
Gracie shoots in looking for a takedown but Petrenko manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gracie's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Bombada lands a left and a right that send Duvernay crashing to the mat, dazed. Bombada thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Raymond Duvernay has been cut.

and Duvernay counters with a head kick that drops Bombada to the mat! Bombada scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Bombada cracks Duvernay with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Duvernay looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bombada finish him?

Duvernay is rocked!
Duvernay drops his hands for a split second and Bombada immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Duvernay face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Bombada follows up with a right hand that knocks Duvernay into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
