These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Jackson misses with a takedown attempt

and Foster holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Foster jumps guard but Jackson stands there with Foster around his waist. Foster gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jackson tries to pull guard but Foster holds him up against the cage and eventually Jackson drops back down to his feet.

Jackson gets control of Foster's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jackson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Foster has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Lane Andrews seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bigelow get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Bigelow stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Andrews runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Nawrocki counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ulveson won't be happy with that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nawrocki wants to control but Ulveson is keeping him busy.

Ulveson has left one of his arms exposed and Nawrocki doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Ulveson screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
