The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie with a poor takedown

and Hardy counters by clinching up.
Hardy stops a takedown attempt from Gracie.
Gracie has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Hardy manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Hardy keeps moving.
Hardy tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Hardy kicks Gracie off and gets to his feet.

Hardy moves into the clinch.

Hardy jumps guard and drags Gracie to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Gracie has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hardy is proving hard to escape from.
Gracie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hardy swivels though and keeps the full guard.

and Hardy counters with a single leg into guard. Gracie didn't expect that.

Hardy decides to stand back up. Hardy steps back and let's Gracie get back to his feet.
Gracie bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hardy's head backwards.

Hardy has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Gracie is trying to keep an underhook but Hardy manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Gracie wants to control but Hardy is keeping busy and won't allow it.
It looks like Hardy is going to stand back up.

Hardy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.

BOOM! Gracie connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Gracie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hardy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Gracie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hardy defends it nicely.

Hardy has closed the distance and engaged Gracie in a clinch.

Butt Plug seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Plug cracks Karpo on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Karpo falls backwards against the cage. Plug follows up with more strikes that drop Karpo to his knees. Plug keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Karpo! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zedong throws a right hand that Tyroon ducks under and follows up with a left that Tyroon also avoids with ease.
Some wild striking there from Zedong.
Zedong fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tyroon looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Tyroon misses with a shot to the body
and Zedong counters with a series of strikes. Tyroon will be more careful next time no doubt.

Zedong lands a jab to the head.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Zedong pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Tyroon back to the cage. Zedong follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Tyroon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Zedong throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tyroon.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Zedong jabs Tyroon to the body, keeping him at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Johnson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Nurminen scores a nice knee to the body.
Johnson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Nurminen lands with a short shot to the head.
Nurminen throws an elbow but it misses.
Nurminen wants to get back to striking at distance but Johnson won't allow it.

Nurminen manages to break the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nurminen feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Johnson's calf.

Nurminen drops Johnson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Johnson looks back up at him and smiles so Nurminen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Johnson is rocked!

It looks like Paivakanni Johnson has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Johnson glances at the clock... BAM! Nurminen nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Johnson crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Johnson is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juha Mieto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalle Kallelainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mieto comes into the arena with Pikku G - Älä ole vihainen blaring out of the sound system. Kallelainen has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

That kick from Mieto tenderised Kallelainen's leg. Kallelainen is trying to keep his angry face on.
Kallelainen looks gassed!
Mieto is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mieto fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kallelainen.
A slapping body kick lands there for Mieto.
Mieto throws a nice inside leg kick.
Mieto with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Good work by Kallelainen as he checks the leg kick.

Mieto closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kallelainen to the mat! Kallelainen manages to get full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kallelainen can do anything to dispel that myth.
Mieto passes Kallelainen's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Mieto is working for a kimura but Kallelainen is defending it quite comfortably.
Mieto works his foot free and advances to mount.

Mieto has isolated one of Kallelainen's arms. Kallelainen looking to fight him off but Mieto twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
