Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wolfe Westgate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamal Porter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Westgate displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Porter.

Horrible takedown by Porter or perhaps it was just good defense by Westgate which made him look bad.
Wolfe Westgate has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamal Porter.

Porter closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Westgate quickly recovers to half guard.

Porter tries to score a power double leg takedown but Westgate sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Porter somewhat.
Westgate lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sackett lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Offenhard has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Offenhard and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
