The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Jack takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
White thows a body shot but no joy.
Jack has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from White finds it's way round the side to connect with Jack's head.
Jack fails with the takedown
and White counters with a stiff right hand.
White throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jack stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
White throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
White lands a jab to Jack's midsection.

Jack shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jack showed some decent athleticism there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Sweeperton has hold of Marshall's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Marshall seems comfortable defending it but Sweeperton has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Marshall is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Marshall is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Sweeperton couldn't care less - he's delighted!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lumines wants to get up but he can't break Tiongson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Tiongson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Tiongson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Tiongson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lumines's guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tulfo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Tulfo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Likienstine sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tulfo somewhat.

and Likienstine counters by moving into the clinch.
Alexander Likienstine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erwin Tulfo.
Tulfo tries for a takedown but Likienstine manages to get underhooks.
Tulfo goes for a takedown attempt but Likienstine pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Tulfo keeps the fight on the outside.
Tulfo closes the distance and clinches up with Likienstine, looking for a takedown. Tulfo pushes Likienstine against the cage but Likienstine circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Tulfo counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Tulfo.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Tulfo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Tulfo forces his way into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Likienstine has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tulfo is working away from the top position though.

Tulfo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Likienstine doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tulfo.
Tulfo throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Tulfo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Likienstine is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
