The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Schweidler.
Schweidler pivots, looking for a leg kick but Uzi is out of range and Schweidler settles back down.
Uzi checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Some bone on bone action there as Uzi checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Uzi shoots in looking for a takedown. Schweidler tries to sprawl out of it but Uzi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Schweidler manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Pain changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Pain manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Pain shoots and misses
and Jones counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Pain takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jones connects with a body shot.
Pain fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jones avoids it really well and circles away.
Brian Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Pain.
Pain ducks right into an uppercut from Jones.

Pain shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jones's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Mack. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Mack is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Glozman.

so Mack counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Mack postures up in Glozman's guard and throws a big left but Glozman blocks it.
Mack passes Glozman's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Mack is nestled in close to Glozman, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Mack wants to lay and pray for a moment but Glozman keeps working.

Well Mack has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
