The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amerjas scores with a jab. Stokes acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Amerjas looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Stokes has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Stokes there as he acknowledges the shot.
Rajid Amerjas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Amerjas, as that shot connected.
Amerjas cracks Stokes with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Nice uppercut lands for Amerjas. That snapped Stokes's head back.
Stokes takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
The fighters circle momentarily. Amerjas darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Stokes stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Amerjas.
Stokes takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Nice uppercut there from Amerjas.
Amerjas throws a sloppy head kick and Stokes moves out of range easily.
Amerjas throws a right hand that Stokes ducks under and follows up with a left that Stokes also avoids with ease.
Amerjas cracks Stokes with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Stokes takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Amerjas is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Good standup being displayed there by Amerjas as he connects with a hook.
Stokes is still on wobbly legs! Can Amerjas finish him?
Amerjas goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Amerjas connects with a crisp jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Amerjas throws a nice inside leg kick.
Stokes closes the distance and clinches up with Amerjas, looking for a takedown. Stokes pushes Amerjas against the cage but Amerjas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Stokes walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Amerjas's corner calls for a 1-2. Amerjas obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
The fighters circle, before Amerjas throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Stokes's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Amerjas lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Black gets cracked there but stands up to it.

I think Quijivix might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to In The Morning. The crowd seem to be enjoying Newton's choice of entrance music: Hurt - T.I.. This should be fireworks!

Newton lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Newton gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Newton wants to stand but Quijivix is controlling the position.
Quijivix trying to control the position from guard on top but Newton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Quijivix is fighting to break Newton's control of his arms but Newton is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
