The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice digs a good body shot into Trapp's ribs.
Slice cracks a nice hook into Trapp's ribs.
Trapp throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slice's waist but Slice gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Trapp off to one side.
Slice stuffs the takedown attempt from Trapp. Trapp gets slowly back to his feet.
Trapp checks the leg kick.
Good shot there by Slice.
Trapp shoots in and drives through. Slice sprawls well.
Kimbo Slice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bear Trapp.
Slice stalks Trapp and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Trapp's face. Trapp staggers backwards, shaken.
Trapp shoots in but no luck this time.
Bear Trapp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trapp is trying hard to land a takedown here. Slice sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Let's hope that Burroughs has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
