Robinson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Bongsworth throws a right and a left that both miss.
Nice takedown defense from Bongsworth. No joy for Robinson on that attempt.

McGrufus tries to land a front kick but Vidic steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

McGrufus lands a big head kick that sends Vidic tumbling to the mat! McGrufus takes a step backwards and waves Vidic back to his feet - he wants the finish!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McGrufus connects with a solid leg kick.
Oh Vidic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

McGrufus feints a jab and as Vidic dips his head, McGrufus unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Vidic right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Vidic falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! McGrufus smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Steinburger feints and then cracks Smith's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Smith down.
Smith misses with a takedown attempt - Steinburger sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Steinburger keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Smith closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonds shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Brugnolo defends it nicely.
Brugnolo ducks right into an uppercut from Bonds.
Bonds scores with a leg kick.
Bonds tries to clinch up.
Bonds swings for the body but Brugnolo moves out of range.
Bonds feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Brugnolo's calf.

Oooh a lovely combination from Brugnolo sends Bonds down but not out. Brugnolo dives into side control looking to finish.

Bonds is rocked!

Brugnolo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Bonds is still in real trouble! Can Brugnolo finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
You can see the frustration on Bonds's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Bonds seems to have recovered his senses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brugnolo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bonds is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bonds is looking for a sweep.

Bonds can't do much from the bottom here.
Brugnolo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bonds keeps working.

Brugnolo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bonds knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Brugnolo goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bonds has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Brugnolo but great work by Bonds.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Bonds swings around for an armbar but Brugnolo sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bonds's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brugnolo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Brugnolo passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Brugnolo has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Brugnolo unloads with some shots from mount but Bonds bucks and avoids them well.

Brugnolo goes for an armbar but Bonds turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Bonds.
Bonds trying to control the position from guard on top but Brugnolo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Brugnolo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bonds really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Bonds is wriggling around trying to escape.
Brugnolo lands with some strikes.

Brugnolo in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Brugnolo swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bonds is now in Brugnolo's guard. A big mistake from Brugnolo there, giving up the dominant position!
Bonds throws a strike but Brugnolo rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Bonds wants to stand up but Brugnolo is controlling him.

Brugnolo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bonds manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Brugnolo has Bonds in his guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bonds postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kevin Brugnolo dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Bonds fakes the leg kick and cracks Brugnolo in the body.
Bonds misses with a head kick.
Billy Bonds seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brugnolo throws a big shot that misses.
Brugnolo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Bonds moves away from the strike by Brugnolo.
Bonds ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bonds bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Brugnolo keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Brugnolo misses with a double jab.
Brugnolo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bonds on the side of the head.
Brugnolo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bonds was well out of range. Poor timing from Brugnolo.
Bonds tries to clinch there but Brugnolo circles away.
Brugnolo cracks Bonds with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Bonds tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Brugnolo pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Bonds is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kevin Brugnolo!
