The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingsley throws a head kick that misses
and Murdock finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

and Murdock holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Kingsley on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Murdock's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Murdock makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Kingsley swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Murdock counters with a thumping low kick.
Murdock buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kingsley throws a combination that misses
and Murdock counters with an inside leg kick.
Kingsley throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Murdock counters with a head kick. That will keep Kingsley thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and Murdock counters with a big head kick but Kingsley shrugs it off.

and Murdock counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Murdock feints and then cracks Kingsley's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kingsley down.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Murdock lands a head kick. Kingsley smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Kingsley throws a leg kick
and Murdock counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kingsley is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Kingsley is rocked!
Murdock lands a big head kick that sends Kingsley to the canvas! Murdock follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
