That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rumerk Murwain.

Lyle takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Martin here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Martin scores with the left hand. Lyle knows he should have avoided that one.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lyle's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Martin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lyle scrambles back to his feet.
Martin is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lyle can do to turn this around?
Lyle has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lyle there as he acknowledges the shot.
Lyle takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Martin scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Martin explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Martin lands a left and a right that send Lyle crashing to the mat, dazed. Martin thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Lyle is rocked!

It looks like Jon Lyle has been cut.
Martin with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Lyle is still on wobbly legs! Can Martin finish him?
Martin finds Lyle's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Lyle flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Martin lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Lyle will be OK.
