The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huerta throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gracie's waist but Gracie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Huerta off to one side.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Huerta paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Gracie misses with a low kick as Huerta jumps back.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Huerta but Huerta pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Pires lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Pires celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
