That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Fierro crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Cruz - the referee stops the clock and Fierro gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Cruz. Fierro manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Dominick Cruz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Venom shoots in for a takedown but Edgar shows good takedown defense.

Edgar shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Edgar was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Possibly an early stoppage but Venom doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
