The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vandelay keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Vandelay shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

The crowd cheers as Greyjoy lands an impressive looking overhand right. Vandelay doesn't seem phased though.
Greyjoy lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Greyjoy.

Vandelay clinches up against the ropes.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Vandelay is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Greyjoy preventing the sweep.
Greyjoy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vandelay. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vandelay is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Greyjoy defends well.
Vandelay manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Greyjoy manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Greyjoy is trying to control the position but Vandelay postures up.
Vandelay stands and throws Greyjoy's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Vandelay thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Greyjoy tries to bench press Vandelay off him but Vandelay keeps the position.
Vandelay has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Vandelay has control of Greyjoy's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Greyjoy regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Vandelay looking for a guillotine from mount but Greyjoy is having none of it.

Vandelay goes for an armbar but Greyjoy turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Greyjoy.
Vandelay looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Greyjoy has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Vandelay to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Greyjoy is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Vandelay pulls down on the head and he's put Greyjoy to sleep! This one is all over!
