The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fredric bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fredric in side control, throwing shots but Aoki defends.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Fredric creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Aoki sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Aoki manages to work his way to half guard, despite Fredric's best efforts.
