The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ulyanov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Conor looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Ulyanov working away.
Conor gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Conor wants to get back to full guard.
Ulyanov misses with a head shot. Conor uses the momentum to regain guard.

Ulyanov has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Conor to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Ulyanov is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Conor pulls down on the head and he's put Ulyanov to sleep! This one is all over!

Lesnar closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fernandez circles away.

and Konrad counters with a nice double leg into side control. Zveroboy won't be happy with that.

No joy there for Russell, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Paskaks has hold of Gurvits's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Gurvits tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Paskaks cranks the arm and Gurvits screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Gurvits, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Danae lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
