Well Shimazu has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

McQueen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lidell circles away quickly and effectively.
Lidell throws a nice looking combination but McQueen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

McQueen cracks Lidell with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Lidell looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can McQueen finish him?

It looks like Chuck Lidell has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McQueen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lidell is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

McQueen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lidell sprawling to the canvas! Lidell rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McQueen finish him?!

and McQueen counters with a huge left! Lidell is in big trouble! He's backing up but McQueen isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Lidell from any more damage. A dominating finish by McQueen!

Aybara has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics DaNickatime uses from the top position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

DaNickatime's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
DaNickatime wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Aybara lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of DaNickatime backwards.

DaNickatime wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

That was a close second round but I would say that Perrin Aybara will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Justin DaNickatime's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Aybara drops back looking for a leg! DaNickatime is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and DaNickatime manages to kick Aybara off! Aybara jumps back into DaNickatime's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
DaNickatime takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Aybara stops DaNickatime from standing up.

DaNickatime is wriggling around but Aybara manages to pass to half guard.

DaNickatime scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Aybara manages to mount him!

Aybara wants to finish this one by submission but DaNickatime is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Aybara.
DaNickatime tries to get back to half guard but can't.

DaNickatime is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Aybara looking to finish DaNickatime with some ground and pound. This is bad for DaNickatime!
DaNickatime is squirming around, avoiding Aybara's attempts to control the action.
DaNickatime's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Aybara is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. DaNickatime can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
