The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killi misses with a takedown attempt - Liddel sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Killi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Killi lands with a nice body kick.
Killi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Liddel moves into the clinch.
Killi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Liddel walks away with a smile on his face. Killi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

It looks like Fred Liddel has been cut.

Gonzales's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Drummond connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Gonzales scrambles back to his feet.
Drummond lands with a kick to the temple. Gonzales shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Oh Gonzales is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mann throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Franklin's waist but Franklin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mann off to one side.
Mann tries to close the distance and clinch up but Franklin swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Franklin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mann.
Mann throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Franklin's waist but Franklin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mann off to one side.

Franklin lands a big uppercut and Mann crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mann looks OK. Franklin waves Mann back to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mann walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Mann limp body while Franklin jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
