Alves lands a big shot there that rocks Joestar but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alves scoring with strikes but Joestar is staying in there.

Alves with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Joestar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alves. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Joestar has left one of his arms exposed and Alves doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Joestar screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
