Kowalski moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Jan Kowalski has been cut.
Horrible takedown by Kowalski or perhaps it was just good defense by High which made him look bad.

High is posturing up here but Kowalski has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! High tries to roll out but it's too tight and High has to tap! Slick submission there by Kowalski!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Misza throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Piorun was covering up waiting for the punch and Misza finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Misza throws a strike but Piorun rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Piorun working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Misza's head.
Piorun throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Misza works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Misza is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Piorun can do anything to dispel that myth.

Well Costa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ahbar Chicouh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Good (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chicouh comes to the cage accompanied by Sandstorm. Good has chosen The Boxer as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Good drives through and clinches with Chicouh against the cage.

Good breaks from the clinch.
No joy there for Chicouh, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Chicouh takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Good has closed the distance and engaged Chicouh in a clinch.
Chicouh tries to break free but Good pushes him back against the cage.
A short right from Good on the inside.
Chicouh wants to get back to striking at distance but Good won't allow it.
Good lands a good knee to the midsection. Chicouh won't want to take too many of those.
Good stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Still in the clinch, Good scores with a nice short uppercut.
A nice left hand lands by Good.
Good throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Good jumps guard.
Good wants to sweep here but Chicouh controlling him for the moment.

Good is looking for a triangle but Chicouh pushes his legs off easily.

Chicouh got a little sloppy there for a moment and Good has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chicouh has managed to get both his arms back between Good's legs - danger averted.
Chicouh knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Good on the ground.
Chicouh tries to free his leg and advance position but Good is retaining full guard.

Good is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Good working a defensive guard but Chicouh passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Good is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Chicouh's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Chicouh's back!

Good looking for the choke but no joy.
Good gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.

Good has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Chicouh! Can he survive? No! He's out! Good gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
