The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Messing connects with a nice short shot to Obstacle's temple.

Messing is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Obstacle is just riding it out for now. Messing eventually gives up the hold.

Messing is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Obstacle doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Messing.
Messing has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Messing maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Obstacle could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Messing has cracked it and Obstacle is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Messing!

Kvasov connects with a leg kick. Ortiz looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
