The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da MaN misses with a wild combination.

It looks like Chingiz Akayev has been cut.
Da MaN moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Da MaN tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Akayev paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Akayev just misses with a punch to the body.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Akayev. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Akayev bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Akayev ducks under a wild hook from Da MaN.
Akayev lands a nice looking body shot.
Akayev misses with an uppercut. Da MaN saw that one coming.
Da MaN loads up on a big right hand but Akayev slips the punch.
Da MaN throws a shot from downtown. Akayev moves away and avoids it.
Da MaN takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Da MaN connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chingiz Akayev's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Da MaN takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A low kick from Akayev is predictable there
and Da MaN counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Da MaN uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Akayev.
Da MaN throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Da MaN is looking to land body kicks.
Akayev blocks a low kick nicely.
Da MaN moves out of range as Akayev strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

PaCo Da MaN dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Akayev tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Da MaN listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Da MaN misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Akayev uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Da MaN.
Da MaN connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
PaCo Da MaN seems to be getting the better of the standup.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Da MaN swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Da MaN scores with the left hand. Akayev knows he should have avoided that one.

Jeez, Chingiz Akayev's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Akayev takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
PaCo Da MaN seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Da MaN connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Akayev momentarily.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chingiz Akayev's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). PaCo Da MaN!
