Potter dives in and grabs Shearer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Shearer pushes down on Potter's head and hops out.
Potter fails with a takedown attempt.
Shearer throws a hook but Potter avoids it easily.
An inside leg kick lands from Shearer.
Shearer thows a left - swing and a miss!
Shearer keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Potter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shearer connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Potter takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Oh but Potter is tightening it up a little... Shearer has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Shearer reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Shearer taps out! nice BJJ there by Potter!
