Ferreira throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Gregory looks to score with a jab to the body but Ferreira is just out of range.
Gregory throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ferreira sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ferreira closes the distance and clinches up with Gregory, looking for a takedown. Ferreira pushes Gregory against the ropes but Gregory circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Ferreira lands a left and a right that send Gregory crashing to the mat, dazed. Ferreira thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Ferreira lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Gregory can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Ferreira and Gregory drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Ferreira.

Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Di Pretty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josef Manuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Di Pretty had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Josef Manuel told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!
