The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shavers scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Shavers misses with a jab, cross combination.
Shavers avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Shavers is looking to clinch but Jackson is avoiding it.
Shavers ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jackson moves away.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jackson.
No joy there for Shavers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Jackson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Jackson gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Jackson tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Shavers is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Jackson buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Jackson!! Jackson is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Shavers throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
