The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gong fails with an attempt to clinch.

Nelson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Gong misses with an elbow strike.
Gong is looking to control Nelson's arms but Nelson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Gong has his back to the cage.
Gong throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Nelson blocks it with crossed arms.

Regis lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Waldo throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Regis connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Waldo's hands.
Waldo tries to clinch up but Regis circles away and keeps his distance.
Waldo takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Oh Waldo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Regis scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Waldo doesn't seem bothered though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Regis! Waldo is backing up but he can't get away as Regis lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Waldo and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Kiely shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fistyrian but Fistyrian pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Fistyrian lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kiely circles away quickly and effectively.
Manuel Fistyrian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fistyrian stuffs the takedown.
Kiely tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fistyrian sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kiely somewhat.

Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Holnick tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Holnick to the ground. Holnick escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oh but Holnick is tightening it up a little... Gracie has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Gracie reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Gracie taps out! nice BJJ there by Holnick!
