Rostecki has chosen Funky Polak - Daj mi jeden Powod as his entrance music. Greg Chang looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Blithering Idiot!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mac Davis!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Idiot throws a body punch but Davis moves out of range.
Idiot lands with a shot to the body.

Davis gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Davis tries for a takedown but Idiot manages to get underhooks.
Davis is trying to drag Idiot to the mat but Idiot just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Idiot looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Davis looking for a takedown.
Blithering Idiot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mac Davis.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A frustrated look appears on Idiot's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Idiot has had enough of the clinch but Davis keeps him there for the moment.
Davis drops down looking for an ankle pick but Idiot pulls his leg out and moves away.
Idiot connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Blithering Idiot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Idiot scores with a sloppy right hand. Davis should have avoided that one.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Idiot tests Davis's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Davis moves into the clinch.
Davis tries to score a body lock takedown but Idiot shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Idiot wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Davis is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Idiot pulls him back up using the underhooks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Idiot breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Davis takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Idiot scores with the left hand. Davis knows he should have avoided that one.
Idiot sizes up Davis with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Idiot drops Davis with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Davis looks back up at him and smiles so Idiot waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Davis is rocked!
Davis fails to land the takedown.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Idiot lands with a good body shot.
Davis looks gassed!

Idiot feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Davis sprawling to the canvas! Davis rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Idiot finish him?!
Davis is still on wobbly legs! Can Idiot finish him?

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Davis fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Idiot avoids it really well and circles away.
Idiot drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Davis right on the button. Davis goes down! Idiot follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Idiot gets the win via TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Blithering Idiot!
