Theodoros looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Theodoros is nestled in close to Barrett, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

It looks like Martin Barrett has been cut.
Barrett wants to get back to his feet.

Barrett kicks off Theodoros and gets to his feet.
Barrett misses with a looping right.
Barrett walks into a straight right hand from Theodoros.
Barrett misses with a series of wild punches.
Barrett shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Theodoros counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Barrett throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Theodoros.

Theodoros bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Barrett regains half guard there - taking advantage of Theodoros's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Theodoros decides to stand up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Theodoros fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Barrett manages to avoid it.
Theodoros throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Barrett using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Theodoros has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Barrett drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Theodoros gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Martin Barrett's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Theodoros decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
