The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rowe moves to clinch but Skylewalker breaks away
and Skylewalker counters with a series of strikes. Rowe will be more careful next time no doubt.
A thudding body kick lands there by Skylewalker!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rowe thows a body shot but no joy.
Rowe dives in and grabs Skylewalker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Skylewalker pushes down on Rowe's head and hops out.
Rowe misses with a takedown attempt - Skylewalker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Skylewalker lands a head kick. Rowe smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Skylewalker leaves Rowe with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
