Tronk drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Tronk as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Davis screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Tronk! Nice submission victory there!

Daville fails to land the takedown.
Fire throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Fire displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Daville.
No joy there for Fire, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fire throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fire tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Daville takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
A nice combination there by Fire.
Fire punishes Daville's body with a nice straight punch.
Daville shoots for a double leg takedown but Fire sprawls well. He's pushed Daville's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hammer Fire has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Daville.

Hanzo is trying to drag Brodie to the mat but Brodie just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Brodie tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hanzo avoids it.
Hanzo is working for takedown but Brodie is calmly controlling the position for now.
Hanzo has Brodie pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Brodie manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDermott fails with a takedown attempt.
Nice defenses there by McDermott.
McDermott stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McDermott wants it to stay on the feet.
Howard shoots in and drives through. McDermott sprawls well.
McDermott feints and then cracks Howard's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Howard down.
McDermott avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

McDermott has taken the fight to the clinch.

McDermott escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
McDermott takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Howard misses with a hook.
Howard just misses with a punch to the body.

Excellent takedown into side control there by McDermott.
Howard is looking for a sweep.

McDermott is working to tighten is grip on Howard's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Howard has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but McDermott is really squeezing tight and eventually Howard passes out! McDermott breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
