The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dallas shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dallas showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Dallas missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Dallas thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hunt's head.
Dallas is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Hunt reverses the position - he's now on top in Dallas's guard.
Dallas avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Hunt trying to control but Dallas is working from the bottom.
Dallas wants to sweep here but Hunt controlling him for the moment.
Dallas is looking to stand up but Hunt isn't so interested in that idea.

Hunt bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dallas's guard.

Hunt is looking to work some ground and pound but Dallas has wrist control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dwayne johnson . That's going to take a lot out of him.
johnson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hunt sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Hunt lands a left and a right that send johnson crashing to the mat, dazed. Hunt thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
