and Masunari counters with a head kick.

It looks like Joey The Lion has been cut.

Masunari lands a big head kick that sends The Lion tumbling to the mat! Masunari takes a step backwards and waves The Lion back to his feet - he wants the finish!

The Lion is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Masunari looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Masunari backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks The Lion's temple! It sends The Lion violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Masunari celebrates and the doctors try to help The Lion!

Velazquez bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Lee! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Velazquez gets to his feet and stands over Lee, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Lee felt that one! Velazquez unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Lee from any more punishment!

I think Clay might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Atari Teenage Riot - Revolution Action . Valdez has chosen so amazing as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Valdez shoots in but Clay avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
