Voss dodges the punch combination from Taylor.
No joy there for Taylor, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Voss ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Taylor moves away.
Taylor misses with a series of wild punches.

Voss closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Voss works his way into full mount!
Voss in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Voss looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Taylor keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Voss has control of Taylor's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Taylor regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Kelly throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Staton's waist but Staton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kelly off to one side.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kelly is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

That was a close second round but I would say that Gerry Kelly will probably get the nod.

Kelly moves in looking to clinch but Staton pushes him off.

Kelly clobbers Staton with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Staton throws a half hearted mid kick.
Staton motions for Kelly to come forward. Staton throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kelly changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Staton tries to avoid it but Kelly manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Staton to the ground. Staton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Staton just misses with a punch to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Staton. Kelly does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kelly steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Staton. That one must have hurt.
Staton fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kelly bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Staton dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kelly defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Staton.

Kelly jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kelly lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Staton rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Kelly counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Kelly content to control rather than advance.
Staton has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kelly is working away from the top position though.

Kelly working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Kelly wants to take a breather but Staton is having none of it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Staton is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kelly scores with a couple of nice shots.
