The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Me drives through with a takedown into guard.

Me got a little sloppy there for a moment and Spalchik has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Me has managed to get both his arms back between Spalchik's legs - danger averted.
Me will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Molotav looks to land a combination but Kaikkonen avoids it well.
Nice uppercut there from Molotav.
Molotav tries to bum rush Kaikkonen with a series of wild strikes but Kaikkonen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Kaikkonen counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Molotav down! Kaikkonen is looking to finish but Molotav is intelligently defending himself.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kaikkonen decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Molotav, up you get!
Oh Molotav is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pawn connects with a single shot there.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pigg. Pawn does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pigg takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Pawn gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Pigg.
Pawn bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Pigg's head backwards.
Pawn leaves Pigg with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Nice uppercut lands for Pawn. That snapped Pigg's head back.
Pigg throws a leg kick but Pawn moved away.
Pigg takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pigg cracks Pawn with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Pawn shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Pawn was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Pawn throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Pigg has his hands clasped together but Pawn breaks the hold and Pigg is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Pawn!

Borisov paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Weichanthal wants to free his trapped foot but Borisov is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Borisov wants to control but Weichanthal is keeping busy and won't allow it.

It looks like Adam Gaziev has been cut.
Bokya jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Gaziev takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Bokya lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Gaziev is looking to close the distance but Bokya sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Gaziev crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Gaziev is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
