Julmuri tries to bum rush VonFoster with a series of wild strikes but VonFoster uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

VonFoster scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with VonFoster in particular looking to stall.
It looks like VonFoster might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sean VonFoster wasn't active enough on the ground.

Krenshaw really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Rooney moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Krenshaw connects with the punch.
Krenshaw throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rooney on the side of the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Krenshaw throws a right and a left that Rooney avoids nicely.
Krenshaw is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Krenshaw will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Rooney feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Helling can do anything to dispel that myth.
Helling is looking to reverse the position.

Muromets tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Muromets has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Helling tries to bench press Muromets off him but Muromets keeps the position.

Muromets has an Americana. Helling didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Muromets is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Muromets hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ganga pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! McBrain tries desperately to hold on but Ganga is relentless in his assault! As McBrain receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Ganga away and this one is in the books!
