Masaru tries to bum rush White with a series of wild strikes but White uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Masaru shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has White pinned against the cage. White gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Masaru checks a leg kick.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Agasi dives in and grabs Sagat's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sagat pushes down on Agasi's head and hops out.
A solid leg kick lands there for Sagat.
Sagat just misses with a punch to the body.
Agasi lands a two punch combo.
Agasi cracks Sagat with a right hand to the side of the head.
Sagat lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Agasi closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Sagat throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Agasi throws a series of punches but Sagat avoids them all with ease.

Agasi gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Sagat gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Agasi is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
