Undercard bout

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Satoshi Ishii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis High (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ishii comes into the arena with Global Deejays - "California Dreamin'" blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the ring it seems that Satoshi Ishii has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Satoshi Ishii seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ishii ducks under a wild hook from High.
High throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Satoshi Ishii seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
High throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ishii.

High really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ishii. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ishii is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. High knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Ishii is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but High still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, High has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Hetfield comes to the ring accompanied by Harvester of Sorrow. Reznar has chosen m.o.v.e - BREAK IN2 THE NITE as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.
