The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flask walks into a straight right hand from Yamatoto.
Flask circles away from the clinch attempt.
Flask wants to land a leg kick but Yamatoto is out of range.
Yamatoto lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Yamatoto fails in his attempt to clinch.
Flask swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Flask tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Flask misses the shot to the body.

Yamatoto fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Flask to the ground. Yamatoto is now in Flask's guard.
Flask looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Flask looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Flask wants to sweep but no luck.
Flask controls Yamatoto momentarily but Yamatoto frees himself.
Flask is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Yamatoto is looking to advance position but Flask has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Yamatoto is in a horrible position here. Flask smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Flask lands a big shot there that rocks Yamatoto but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Flask has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Flask connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Yamatoto is still in real trouble! Can Flask finish him?
Oooh a big shot lands for Flask! Yamatoto is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!

Christopherson avoids the head kick by Me.
Christopherson throws a jab when Me was well out of range.
Christopherson throws a quick inside leg kick.
Me lands a high kick!
Christopherson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Christopherson tries to bum rush Me with a series of wild strikes but Me uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Christopherson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Christopherson moves out of range of the body kick from Me.
Christopherson swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Me tries a head kick but it misses.
Christopherson swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Christopherson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Me manages to avoid it.

Christopherson looks for the body kick but Me saw that one coming.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Christopherson throws a shot from downtown. Me moves away and avoids it.
Christopherson throws a hook but Me blocks it.

and Christopherson counters with a left to the body.

Christopherson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Me.

Christopherson lands a big head kick that sends Me tumbling to the mat! Christopherson takes a step backwards and waves Me back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Me takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Me is still on wobbly legs! Can Christopherson finish him?
Me avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Me seems to have recovered his senses.

The fighters circle momentarily. Christopherson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Christopherson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Christopherson cracks Me with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Christopherson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Me to stand back up!

Christopherson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Me momentarily.
Shame Me seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Christopherson walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Me drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Christopherson swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Me's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
