It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Abbott Jr here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Abbott Jr lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Lesnar quite badly. Lesnar pulls Abbott Jr in close trying to recover. Possibly an early stoppage but Lesnar doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Reid gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Beast.
The fighters circle momentarily. Beast darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Reid tries for a takedown but Beast sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Beast connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Reid throws a predictable looking body shot
and Beast cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Beast cracks Reid with a right hand to the side of the head.
Nice takedown defense from Beast. No joy for Reid on that attempt.
Beast scores with a sloppy right hand. Reid should have avoided that one.
Reid walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Beast lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Beast.
Reid looks for a takedown but Beast sprawls well.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and tyson Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ward comes to the cage accompanied by Can't Be Touched. Both these fighters had to take extra time to make weight as they missed the initial 155lb limit. Chris Ward came in at 157.0 and tyson Griffin came in at 156.1 but after the extra two hours, both guys managed to get within the one pound allowance. No doubt it will have affected them physically though, so let's see if that has an impact on the fight. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
